We had a busy weekend....

Friday night: Dinner at Jan and Larry Lacy's house. Pork loin, peas, cheesy potatoes, home made roles, fruit salad, and dessert. What a great meal!

Saturday: Dennis and Brandon took the van up to his parents farm to chance the oil. Jenny and Nathan went to Target and Stuff Etc. to run some errands and picked up a used trike for the boys. Nathan was really good out and about. Everyone took a long nap, then we went to church. It was Ryan's first communion so we went to Dave and Sheri's house for dinner and to celebrate.

Sunday: Everyone slept in. Again, Dennis and Brandon went to the farm with the Jeep to chance the oil while Nathan and Jenny played outside and went on a walk around the block. Had lunch and took a long nap again, then played outside most of the evening. The water is rising in the river down the road from us, and the boys (including Dennis) like to run the motorized boat in it and throw in rocks.

To recap the trip from Las Vegas:

Arrived late Friday night (and I mean late, like 2am Vegas time)

Saturday: We walked to the Flamingo and had lunch (pizza). We walked in the gardens, then visited the Venetian where the picture with the Blue Men was taken. We also visited Cesear's Palace, the Bellagio and New York New York during the afternoon. After a quick trip back to the hotel to change clothes for dinner, we ate at the buffet at the Excaliber where we were staying, then took the Duece to the Mirage (and checked it out before the show). We saw "Danny Gann", then walked home, passing the Bellagio water show on the way home and also checking out Planet Hollywood.

Sunday: We took the Duece to the Sratesphere and had a brunch at their buffet. We took the elevator to the top and Jenny rode on the "Extreme Shoot" roller coaster off the top of the Stratesphere. We took the Duece back to the Wynn and looked around, then headed back to the hotel to change for dinner. We took a quick spin through the Luxor and Mandalay Bay, then took the Duece to our show "Cirque De Soliel" at Treasure Island. We had dinner after the show at Treasure Island, then took the Duece back home, stopping in New York New York for ice cream.

Monday: Travel back to CR!!!
